Hey girls!

So I’ve been inspired to come up with my own list of ten things I absolutely love about camp. Here it goes!
10. Paintball! The whole getting hit and bruised thing isn’t my favorite. But this is the one time I ever play paintball, and it’s an essential part of camp for me.
9. Chick-fil-A! On the days when you’re getting tired of camp food, it’s nice to have God’s favorite fast food on standby.
8. No parents or brothers! Being away from the family is nice sometimes. But this year both my dad and my brother will be going to high school camp with me… so we’ll have to see how that goes J
7. A whole lot less drama! It’s weird how not having cell phones or face book makes everyone get along better.
6. The water park! Sun, water, and hanging with the girls- it doesn’t get better than that!
5. Group cheers! I don’t know how they do it, but the guys always manage to come up with the greatest skits ever. And the bar just keeps getting higher. It starts the mornings off right!
4. Family groups! Camp has given me relationships with girls younger and older than me that I still love to talk to. It’s always cool to watch your group come together through the week.
3. Incredible and intense worship! When you choose to remove the distractions and fill that gap with God, and when you’re in a forest in the middle of nowhere, you can’t help but see God. Praising Him comes so naturally at camp.
2. The giant swing and the zip line! The butterflies you get in your stomach right before you step off the platform are the greatest. It’s such a rush, and there’s no other feeling quite like it!
And finally……
1. Hearing from God! God will speak. He will show up. And He will move. Camp is always an awesome time to focus on your relationship with God and to grow. You can’t get away from Him, and if you are open to what He has to show you, you will never be the same!
